About

The split between the people who build websites and the people who market them stopped making sense. SetWorks exists to close it.

SetWorks combines web development, programming, search strategy, AI, content, marketing and digital technology in one team.

A business's digital presence is not a website plus some marketing. It is a system: the site, the search results, the map listing, the reviews, the content people find at 11pm when they're comparing options. Those pieces reinforce each other or they undermine each other, and almost nobody is responsible for the whole thing.

We build and run that system. Same team designs the interface, writes the schema, tunes the Core Web Vitals, structures the content and reads the numbers afterwards.

We work remotely with clients across the United Kingdom and the United States — a criminal defence practice, a live music venue, a franchised motorcycle dealership, a boat-hire marketplace, a haircare brand and an AI product, among others.

On results: we publish performance figures only with a client's sign-off and only when we can source them. That's why you won't find a wall of percentages on this site. Ask on a call and we'll tell you what we're permitted to share.

How we work

Say what's true

Every project shown on this site is real work for a real business. We don't borrow logos, invent testimonials or print performance numbers we can't source.

Build it properly

Semantic, fast, accessible and maintainable. The version that ships is the version someone else can pick up in two years.

Measure before opinions

Analytics and search data are set up before launch, so the first argument about what's working has evidence attached.

One accountable team

Strategy, design, engineering and search sit together. No handoffs to a vendor who wasn't in the room.

From first idea to digital growth

01Week 1

Discover

We learn how the business actually makes money, and where the digital presence is leaking.

02Week 2

Strategize

One plan covering site, search, content and channels — with an order of operations.

03Weeks 3–5

Design

Interface work that carries the brand and removes hesitation from the decision path.

04Weeks 5–9

Build

Production engineering with performance and structured data built in from the first commit.

05Post-launch

Optimize

Launch is a checkpoint. The weeks after it decide what the investment returns.

06Ongoing

Grow

Content, campaigns and iteration on a rhythm, reported against outcomes that matter.

03Why one team

Six vendors, six invoices, six versions of the strategy — and nobody accountable for the result. That is the normal setup, and it is why most digital investment underperforms.

  • Owner-led and growing businesses where digital presence directly drives revenue — professional services, hospitality, home services, retail, specialist ecommerce and software. The common factor is wanting one partner accountable for the whole picture.
