The brief

Windle London runs two businesses on one domain: a precision-cutting salon in central London and an award-winning product line. Those pull in opposite directions — one is a local service search, the other is national ecommerce — and a single store front-end has to serve both without either cannibalising the other.

Our approach

01

Separate the intent: salon and appointment pages built for local search, product and routine pages built for commercial search.

02

Structure the catalogue around how people actually shop — hair type and concern, not internal collections.

03

Give the lab and the awards their own supporting content so the brand story is indexable, not just a homepage paragraph.

04

Keep collection and product templates clean enough that new lines inherit the SEO work automatically.

03

Scope of work

  • Technical audit and remediation across store templates
  • Collection and product page architecture
  • Local pages for the salon side of the business
  • Editorial content on routines and hair types
  • Product and organisation structured data

Results

We don't publish traffic, ranking or revenue figures without the client's written sign-off, and most businesses would rather their numbers stayed private. If you want specifics on results, ask on a call — we'll share what we're permitted to share, with the source.
